Chay Jon holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and briefly attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law before pursuing writing full-time.

Born in South Korea, he spent part of his childhood in England before moving to the United States.

He now lives in Chicago with a pet chinchilla and a Havanese puppy who helped inspire elements of his stories.
